Charlie Lamerle Bousman Culp passed away on September 12, 2017. She was born in Woden, Texas on April 14, 1925. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches, Texas at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, September 15, 2017. Dr. Jeff McDonald will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Bousman and Carrie King Bousman; husband, E.T. Culp; sister, Maxine Roper; and brothers, Linden Bousman and Kurth Bousman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Bousman and Carrie King Bousman; husband, E.T. Culp; sister, Maxine Roper; and brothers, Linden Bousman and Kurth Bousman.

Lamerle is survived by her two sons and their wives: David K. Culp (Jerry) and Charles Lindy Culp (Barbara); four grandsons and their wives: Charles D. Culp (Jennifer), Michael W. Culp (Lisa), John D. Culp (Cristen), and Brian C. Culp (Christine); and eight great grandchildren: Emily, David, Kevin, Austin, Cameron, MaKenna, Alyssa, and Lilith Culp. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Floy Bousman as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lamerle was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for over thirty years. During her retirement years she enjoyed travelling with friends and grandsons to Europe. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church. Lamerle was actively involved and held offices in DAR, DRT, and Colonial Dames.

Pallbearers will be David Culp, Lindy Culp, Charles D. Culp, Michael Culp, John Culp, and Brian Culp.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Culp's name to The National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida 33131.
