Jerry Hancock was born on August 8, 1973 in Nacogdoches, TX and passed away September 13, 2016. He was born on August 8, 1973 to parents Ron and Sharon Hancock in Nacogdoches, Texas.

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at 2:00 pm at Nacogdoches Cowboy Impact Church. Pastor Stan King will be officiating. Interment will follow after the service.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, September 16 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Nacogdoches Cowboy Impact Church.

Jerry graduated from Martinsville High School in 1991. Shortly after that he obtained his CDL license and started to drive a truck. Big trucks were a passion for Jerry and he loved driving all over the east Texas and Louisiana area. Jerry was a friendly person and never met a stranger. He loved to stop and talk and it never really mattered if he knew the person or not. This trait is one that most will truly miss.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Fancher; niece, Courtney Leigh Wright; grandfather, Ed Hancock; grandparents, James "Rod" and Mary Jo Fancher; nephew, Aidan Freeman.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Chandler Hancock; daughter, Terri Lynn; son, Jarad Nolan Hancock; father, Ronald S Hancock and bonus mom Sue; sisters, Stephanie Hancock, Jennifer Matlock and husband James, Christina Hancock and Jacob Berryman all of Nacogdoches, sister, Elaine Collins of Round Rock, TX.; brothers, Charles Freeman of Silsbee; Russell Freeman and wife Jessica of Phoenix, Arizona, Terry "TJ" Williams and wife Amanda of Round Rock, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; Mary Hancock and son Landon,James Wright, Destinee and Cody Freeman, Catherine, Madeline, and Allison Weems, Mikayla and Kellie Freeman, Sean Bridges, Kaitlyn and Kale Collins, Addis Chandler, Adia Williams and Bailey Williams ;cousin, Michael Fancher and wife Harolyn; grandmother, Marie Hancock.
